Raspberry Pi を ファイルサーバーにするため，Sambaをいれた
sudo apt-get install samba でエラーが出たので
以下のコマンドを実行した

Raspberry Piに無線LANアダプターを追加して，接続できるようにした。
/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf を編集
wpa_passphrase ESSID pass にて，passを暗号化

ハードディスクのなかった、LinkStation に，中古の１２０GB ハードディスクをいれて，ファームウェアアップデートを行い動作するようになった。
最初は，Win7とハブ，ルータを使って作業していたけど，TFTPが始まらなく何ともならなかった。
XPパソコンに変えて，ケーブル直結にしたらTFTPで転送されEMモードで起動した。
ファームウェアアップデータも実行できて、何回か再起動したら起動できるようになっていた。
