Plamo 4.5 information
Plamo 4.5 がリリースされたので、VirtualPC2004で試した見たところ
kernel panic で止まってしまい，インストーラが起動しませんでした

Plamo Linux 4．2 をペンティアム667マシン(SOTEC-M366)にインストール
Xorgの設定は必須:xfplamoconfig
grubインストール時にunicon使用設定をはずしてしまった
vga16 unicon=eucjp
unicon使用する設定でないと、漢字表示が出来ないので、困る
grubに起動設定を追加した
4．21をおとしたのですが、インストール中にｃｄ読み込みエラーが出てしまったので，書き直しも面倒なので4．2にした
あとで、Updateパッケージを入れる予定

パッケージのインストール/削除の方法がよくわからなかったので載せておく

WindowsでLinuxパーティションを読み書きするには（Ext2Fsd編） ? ＠IT

2006/04/01にリリースされていたPlamo Linux 4.2 をインストールした

おすすめL KDEディスクトップ
installpkg コマンドを使用してFireFoxを追加インストールした
一般ユーザを作成し、Xを起動したがエラーとなり起動せず
Xの設定を、setupコマンドのメニューxfplamoconfigにて行い、起動するようになった
ネットワーク設定は、DHCPサーバから自動取得に設定した

VmwarePlayerに入れたPlamo4.2β2にKDE環境を入れた

2枚目のインストールCDをマウント
#mount /media/cdrom

kdeディレクトリに移動

パッケージをインストール
#installpkg *.tgz

一般ユーザでログイン
.xinitrcのリンクを.xinitrc_kdeに変更
startxでXを起動
KDEが起動した

Vmware Player にPlamo 4.2b2をインストール

Browser-Applianceにiso-iamageを使ってインストール
1枚目のみを使用してお勧めでおこなった

ネットワークの設定を変更した
"vmxnet"では動作しなかったが、e1000にしてOKだった
